Dr. Edgar A. Jordan resides in the village of Midlothian, Virginia, a suburb of Richmond. Dr. Ed holds several accredited degrees; a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah; a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey California; a Master of Science (MS) in Engineering Acoustics also from the Naval Post Graduate School; and a Doctor of Business Administration from the School of Advanced Studies of the University of Phoenix. Dr. Ed’s research focus is on technology and innovation management, in particular disruptive innovation; as well as organizational adaptation; and leadership theory.
Dr. Ed is President and CEO of 5 Rings Solutions, LLC; an enthusiastic consulting firm that focuses on acoustic system research and development, system integration, budget development, and at-sea sustainment, under contract to agencies in the Department of Defense. 5 Rings Solutions also provide services that enable organizations to maximize effectiveness, especially in the face of rapidly changing technological environments.
Dr. Ed has been elected to membership of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society, and is an active member of the Acoustical Society of America and the Academy of Management.
