Dr. Olivia Herriford


Dr. Olivia Herriford, a change consultant and business and leadership coach, holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Applied Mathematics from Northrop University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Phoenix School of Business, and a Doctor of Management (DM) from University of Phoenix School of Advanced Studies.  She is adjunct faculty for John F. Kennedy University and University of Phoenix.

Dr. Olivia is a certified Gazelles International™ business coach with expertise in assisting social sector organizations in Northern California and high-growth businesses in Kenya, where with development and execution of growth strategies. Her certification is applied to work as a volunteer in the Center for Human Development’s conflict resolution programs, specializing in neighbor and small business disputes.

Dr. Olivia is a board member of East Bay Coaches, a chapter of the International Coaches Federation (ICF), the Bayview Hunters Point YMCA, and the Attitudinal Healing Connection of Oakland. She is a member of the American Society for Training and Development, International Society for Performance Improvement, and International Association of Facilitators.

Leveraging the research and findings from her dissertation, Emotional Intelligence and High-technology Organizational Culture, Dr. Olivia has developed and delivered workshops on Creating a Culture of Leadership, Cultural Sensitivity and Conflict Management, and Influencing Sustainable Change.  Look for her book, Everyday Mediation, in collaboration with Marilynn Hall this winter.
