Dr. Teresa Lao


Dr. Teresa Lao holds several accredited degrees: a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) from New Mexico State University and a Master of Arts (MA) from Ball State University with qualitative research study interests in curriculum and instructions methods, distance learning, curriculum & instruction, technology integration, women and leadership roles, education, learning technologies, higher education, women’s issues, leadership, and organization.

Dr. Teresa is a curriculum and course developer for business, writing, and foundations courses while serving as a consultant for the Academic Council on Education to review military courses for college credits. Her work experience includes Equal Employment Opportunity investigator, where she investigated discrimination complaints, newspaper copy editor for the El Paso Times, writing lab reviewer, and GED/ESL instructor. Dr. Lao is pursuing an Executive Juris Doctorate, as of the date of this publication, to broaden her knowledge of the law. Dr. Teresa believes in the importance of lifelong, and that knowledge is within our reach. We need to take the initiative to improve our current skill.

Dr. Teresa is a published author in several peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Technology and Teacher Education, Global Journal of Business Research, and Journal of Leadership Studies.
