Biography:
Dr. Diane J. Morey resides in Canyon Country, California. Dr. Diane is a Professor Emeritus at College of the Canyons and Campus Dean of Nursing and Professor at West Coast University. Her teaching experience involves associate, bachelors and masters in nursing programs. In a previous position, she was responsible for overseeing a variety of health science programs which required her expertise in curriculum and accreditation processes. Her nursing background comprises adult and pediatric critical care and as a school nurse. She has presented and published on the topic of critical thinking. She has authored chapters in textbooks on evidence-based practice, nursing practice, and immune disorders. She has a Bachelors in Health Science and her Bachelors and Masters in Nursing and her PhD in Education with a specialization in instructional design for online learning. Her particular passion for nursing and education incorporates the specialty of online learning.
Dr. Diane is also an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International (Nursing Honor Society) and National League for Nursing (NLN). She is a Registered Nurse and a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) through NLN.
