Biography:
Residing in Wayne, NJ, Dr. Joseph A. Gioia holds several accredited degrees; a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Special Education from William Paterson University; a Master of Science (MS) in Human Resources Management from The New School; and a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Business Psychology from the University of the Rockies. His doctoral dissertation, HRM Professionals’ Management of Constituents’ Demands and Psychological Contracts in Hierarchical Cultures, was recognized with the Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Scholarship. He is a member of The Golden Key International Honour Society.
Dr. Joe holds a post-graduate certificate in Organization Development also from The New School. He is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) and a Compensation Management Specialist (CMS).
Dr. Joe held several high level positions in human resources management (HRM) in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. He is currently a business psychologist and consultant in organizational leadership, organization development, change management, HRM, employee benefits, and compensation management. Dr. Joe is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (ISCEBS). He serves on the faculty of Ashford University and Touro University Worldwide teaching courses in business, management, and organizational psychology.
