Biography:
Dr. Curtis D. Curry lives on Florida’s Space Coast. President of Quality Learning International, Dr. Curtis has over 25 years of leadership experience working with global organizations in the human and organizational performance improvement field. He has trained over 40,000 leaders and individual contributors from 200+ organizations including Ricoh, Harris, United Space Alliance, Honeywell Aerospace, Roche do Brasil, BHP Chile, Kraft Brazil, Colgate, and Peabody Energy. Dr. Curtis is a fellow at Florida Tech’s Institute for Cross Cultural Management, and he teaches MBA courses in leadership and people management for the Jack Welch Management Institute.
His training focuses on global leadership, communicating across cultures, managing conflict, leading global teams, and organizational change. He also provides coaching for global leaders, has spearheaded the development of more than 200 courses and workshops, speaks Spanish (has taught more than 50 leadership workshops in Spanish), Portuguese (has facilitated several programs) and French. He has facilitated leadership development programs in North America, Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, and Latin America.
Dr. Curry served as director, World Trade Institute of the Americas and director, Entrena Honduras/Nicaragua. He is a member of the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches, ATD, SHRM (served as a Global Expertise Panelist 2016 and 2017), and the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR).
