Dr. Beverly Hernandez Hernandez


Dr. Beverly J. D Hernandez has been an innovative leader in the healthcare environment for more than 15 years. Her passion for learning fueled the completion of multiple degrees: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nutrition from Hunter College, A Masters of Science (MS) in Clinical Nutrition from New York University, (NYU) and an internship in Medical Nutrition Therapy through the Department of Medicine at the Bronx Veteran’s Administration.

Dr. Beverly further pursued her doctoral degree (PhD) at Walden University in Applied Management and Decision Sciences with an emphasis on Leadership and Change. Her remarkable academic career demonstrates her commitment to healing and caring for ailments that afflict the success of human systems.

As part of her commitment to social change, Dr. Beverly serves as nutrition spokesperson for television and radio programs requiring expert nutrition opinion, served as board member of the American Dietetic Association, and have significantly contributed to numerous health fairs and wellness events within her local community. Additionally, Dr. Beverly has established and coordinated continuous quality improvement programs for several hospital sites, developed and implemented worksite wellness programs, and pioneered a mentoring program for women within 3 hospital organizations. She has published in professional journals, such as The American Journal of Kidney Disease, as well as popular print media inclusive of Upscale magazine, Essence magazine, and Atlanta Journal Constitution. As a Committed member of the prestigious Sigma Iota Epsilon (SIE), Dr. Beverly continues to leverage her knowledge and experience to provide expert insight and practical perspective to interns, students of management, leaders, and corporate professionals.
